ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ၊ မဟာချိုင်က အလုပ်သမားတန်းလျာမှာ အလုပ်လုပ်ခွင့်ရဖို့စောင့်နေတဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသား အလုပ်သမား ၁၃၁ ဦးကို ထိုင်းရဲတွေက အောက်တို ဘာ ၁၆ ရက်မှာ ဝင်ရောက်ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့တယ်လို့ အလုပ်သမားအရေးကူညီပေးနေသူတွေ ပြောပါတယ်။
အခုလို ဖမ်းဆီးခံရတဲ့ မြန်မာတွေကို ပွဲစားက အလုပ်လုပ်ခွင့်ရမယ်ဆိုပြီး တစ်ယောက်ကို မြန်မာငွေ သိန်း ၈၀ (ဘတ် ၄ သောင်း) ယူပြီး စမွတ်စခွန်က နေအိမ်တစ်ခုမှာ နေရာချပေးခဲ့တယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။
မြန်မာပွဲစားအချင်းချင်း အဝေမတည့်ဖြစ်ရာကနေ ပွဲစားတစ်ဦးက နေရာအတိအကျနဲ့ ထိုင်းလူဝန်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးဌာနကို တိုင်ကြားတာကြောင့် ဝင်ဖမ်းခံရလို့ ဆိုပါတယ်။
အလုပ်လုပ်ခွင့်ရဖို့ စောင့်ဆိုင်းနေတဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်င်ငံသားတွေဟာ ကချက်နဘူရီ၊ ရနောင်း၊ နဲ့ တာ့ခရိုင်တွေကနေ တရားမဝင် ဝင်ရောက်လာတာဖြစ်ပြီး ပွဲစားတွေကတော့ ရှောင်တိမ်းသွားတယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။

131 Myanmar Nationals Arrested in Thailand’s Mae Sot

Thai authorities in Mae Sot, Thailand, arrested 131 Myanmar nationals on October 16 who had been waiting to obtain legal work permits, according to labor assistance groups.
The workers were reportedly deceived by brokers who promised them legal employment in Thailand. Each worker allegedly paid about 800,000 kyats (approximately 40,000 baht) and was temporarily housed in a residence in Samut Sakhon.
Sources said the arrests occurred after a dispute between Myanmar brokers led one of them to report the exact location of the workers to Thailand’s Department of Employment, prompting a joint raid.
The arrested individuals had entered Thailand illegally through Kanchanaburi, Ranong, and Tak provinces, and the brokers involved are believed to have fled following the arrests.
The operation was carried out by local police, immigration officers, district administration officials, and representatives from the Ministry of Labour. Authorities stated that some detainees lacked valid identification, while others possessed passports with improper entry stamps.
Thailand’s new Labour Minister, Ms. Thirinut Tiryaphorn, recently announced a plan to issue temporary “pink cards” to migrant workers from Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam between October 15 and 29 to address labor shortages.
However, the Ministry of Labour issued a statement on October 16, postponing the pink card program, citing instability and security concerns along the border.
