The Mindat Post was established on 30th November, 2021.
Mindat is one of the front leading townships which involved in the Spring Revolution against Burmese military dictatorship since the earliest timeline.
In that situation, the Military Council attacked the Chin State by cutting off all ties such as information, phone and internet lines in almost every part of the State, including Mindat.
As a result of those cutting ties, people of Mindat Township lost their access to information and many of them got blacked out of news on what’s happening in real world by the Military Council.
Due to the black out of news and information, it’s getting obviously worse in health, education and socio-economic conditions of local people in general.
In Mindat Township, the Military Council’s offensive approaches got worse after information was cut off. The Military Council is committing serious war crimes and human rights violations in Mindat.
The Mindat Post is presenting the news in both English and Myanmar versions so that other local and international communities know what’s happening in Mindat on a timely basis.
What’s more, the Mindat Post is presenting video documentaries about education, health, and socio-economic situations of Mindat people in well-prepared versions of both Chin (Mindat-Cho) and Myanmar languages.
The news in Mindat, Kanpetlet, Matupi, and Paletwa of Chin State, are being focusedly presenting.The Mindat Post has partnered with Radio NUG and Cho Radio to broadcast news on Short Wave Radio for Mindat ,Kanpetlet and Matupi areas where the information and communication were cut off by the military council.
